Angels in a Churchyard // Meta-Crisis Tenth Doctor
It was another day of writing music and sitting alone in the apartment. It was quite depressing, really, but it was something that Reagan was used to. She didn't really have any friends, and all of her family was back in her normal era, so what was she to do? She finished working on her piece and found herself getting a bit hungry, knowing that there wasn't any food in the fridge currently. She'd have to stop at deli down the street to get something.
Heading out of her apartment, she noticed that it was a rather quiet night. No one was around, really, but she didn't mind it. It made it a lot easier to get to the deli faster. While on her way, she had looked to the side, noticing that the knight statue that was in front of her apartment had looked slightly different. She narrowed her eyes, noticing that it's hands were in a different position than normal... was she going crazy? She ignored, it just trying to get to the deli.
When she finally had headed down the main street, she could see the church that was at the edge of the intersection two blocks down. It was quite beautiful, with its bell ringing, showing that it was striking 11 o'clock. She took in a deep breath of fresh air and rubbed her eyes... and when she looked down a gray figure was suddenly in front of the door. Where did it come from that fast?
Blinking again, it appeared closer. "What in the world..." she mumbled to herself as she came to a halt. It wasn't moving at all. It just stood there. She took a step back, blinking again, as it appeared even closer. "How!" she said as she started to walk backwards, as fast as she could. She blinked again. It was at the edge of the intersection.
"No, no, no," she said to herself, but she suddenly bumped into someone while walking backwards. "Don't stop looking at it! It keeps moving!" she said quickly as she turned to the man, fixing his eyes on it. "Don't blink, please, for goodness sakes don't blink--it keeps coming closer!"

Re: Angels in a Churchyard // Meta-Crisis Tenth Doctor
The Doctor stepped out of the tardis with a sigh, no companion this run either. He really needed a companion. Shaking his head, he closed the tardis door and started to walk. It was late at night, which meant it was quiet and peaceful. The Doctor was okay with that but he perferred it to be more lively. He walked straight into the middle of London. The town was lifeless, which was strange for London. You would expect to see at least a person or two but no, it was completely empty. The Doctor felt nervous about all of this. He quickly shook his head and tried to shake the nervous feeling away, but it wouldn't leave.
Walking dowin a street, he stopped for a second. His eyes shifted to a statue of a woman and her child. The Doctor shook his head and started to walk but quickly stopped and looked back. They had moved. The mother was closer and the child was gone. A gasp arose from The Doctor's throat. Without letting another second go by, he ran. He ran past streets and more streets. Until he came to a sudden stop in front of a young girl. She had long brown her that laid on her shoulders for support. She didn't seem to notice him until she ran into him...she sounded terrified.
He nodded quickly, trying to respond to her. " I know it keeps moving, I have seen them before. " She started to panic, The Doctor kept his eyes on the statue in front of him. " Listen to me, you have to calm down. They can't move unless you blink or turn away from them. So don't blink and you will be fine. But first you have to calm down. Okay? " The Doctor stated calmly. He then stepped back slowly, not taking his eyes off the statue. " Follow me. I can get you to safety. But you have to trust me. Do you trust me? " The Doctor asked as he stepped back another step, keeping his eyes on the statue, and pulling the girl with him. He wanted to save her. But if she did not trust him, it would be hard thing to do.

Re: Angels in a Churchyard // Meta-Crisis Tenth Doctor
The man had spoke as if he had encountered these things before. Was this one of those things that was common in this era? Reagan felt her heart race as she examined the man who was speaking to her. He was a tall fellow with spiky brown hair and a Scottish accent to his tone. Something was seemingly familiar and trusting about him and she quickly nodded when he had said to calm down.
She took a deep breath as she listened to what he had to say and then he asked her if she trusted him. "Yes, I trust you," she said quickly as she grabbed his hand and he began to pull her away. She kept looking back at the statue, making sure it stayed where it was. She didn't like where this was going and she wasn't ready to find out what happened if they reached you.

The Doctor pulled her back and his eyes stayed on the statue behind them. Shaking his head he mumbled, " Why are they here? " He continued to pull her until they were in a building full of lights. A chair sat in the middle of the room, bright lights covered the place, the walls that covered them were falling apart and smelled of rotting wood. Other than the chair, there was nothing else. His eyes went back to Reagan. " So. What is your name? Oh, and sorry about them...they are called weeping angels. They are just like statues but when you look away....they aren't. Not when you turn your back, or when you blink. " The Doctor let himself pause. " I am not sure why they are here, but whatever ever they want...it can't be good...." The Doctor let his eyes go out the window at the weeping angels. They were still there, waiting for them to come out.
The Doctor quickly stood up after they sat there for a minute. "What were you doing, before they attacked..or well, moved. " The Doctor moved over to a the power sorce of the building. He doesn't look back at her. " Watch that angel out there. " He places his screwdriver in his mouth and opens the door to the power sorce. Placing his glasses on his nose, he sonics the power sorce. " They are trying their hardest to cut the power, so they can get us. But don't worry I won't let that happen. " The Doctor said as he stopped sonicing the power sorce. "That sould do it. " He nodded slightly. The Doctor turned to her. "Now, we need to go out. " Without talking, The Doctor takes Reagan's hand and guides her out. Once they are out, The Doctor puts his hands up, letting Reagan's hand fall to her side. " What do you want? Hm? " He raises an eyebrow. "What is it you want from her? Me? Anyone? " The Doctor shakes his head. " Why did you come back? " The Doctor mumbled bitterly under his breath. Hoping Reagan didn't hear him.

Re: Angels in a Churchyard // Meta-Crisis Tenth Doctor
When the Doctor and Reagan had came to a stop, it seemed as though he was talking to himself, to the statues. She wondered what this all meant or what they were doing, and what would happen if they got too close. When he had asked for her name, she gave a quick response. "Reagan. My name's Reagan." He began explaining what the angels did... and quite frankly, it was a bit scary to her.
"Am I going to die if they get me?" she spoke in a hush, quivering voice. He had spoke of watching an angel, which she did, rather intently, trying her hardest not to blink. She felt her heart racing as she shook her head. "What would it want from me? I was just walking to get something to eat and then this happened..."

Re: Angels in a Churchyard // Meta-Crisis Tenth Doctor
The Doctor let himself pace in front of two of the angels. They, of course, did not answer his questions. His questions were more just him asking himself. The angels were statues, rock, they did not talk or speak. All they did was send people back in time and hide. He quickly shook his head. How did they come back is a better question....what do they want is a good one too but I think I already know the answer to that one. The Doctor thought to himself as he looked at Reagan and then back at the angels. " That is a nice name Reagan, I'm The Doctor and before you ask, yes it is just The Doctor. Nothing before it and nothing after. Just The Doctor. " The Doctor explained. He wouldn't have to if people would just call him Doctor. But no, no one would just nod and say 'ok'. They always said Doctor who? The Doctor was okay with that sometimes but now was not the time for that. If they made one wrong move they would both be dead and The Doctor did not want to loose anybody else.
Shaking his head, and not looking back, he replied. " They are not after just you really. They are after any and everybody. " The Doctor let himself pause as he thought of he response. "They won't kill you...they will send you back in time. One touch is all it takes. As for where and how far back, that is unknown. Just wherever. So don't blink and stay away from their touch. Okay? Do you understand? " The Doctor asked as he took her hand to make sure she was beside him and safe. He wanted her to live through all of this and maybe he would have a friend again, maybe.

Reagan smiled lightly when the Doctor had said that her name was nice. He then spoke that he was just the doctor, she found that to be a bit confusing. "Huh... I've met someone who calls himself the Doctor before... he's actually the reason I'm in this stupid place," she sighed. Well, there wasn't much she could do about it. She was stuck here.
Her attention was suddenly drawn to the angel though when the Doctor had mentioned that they send you back in time. "Really? It can do that?" she spoke in a rather excited tone. She wanted desperately to get back to her home time, but for whatever reason the eleventh Doctor was unable to aid her in her situation. He kept telling her that he just couldn't, and she never understood why.
She got herself upright and took a step forward for a moment, but was stopped by the grasp of the Doctor's hand. For a moment, she flushed in the face, but shook it off quickly. No, no, I have to get home somehow... she bit her lip and looked at him, with desperate eyes. "...Would they be able to send me home?"

The Doctor nodded slowly when she asked if they could send her back in time. " Yes. They can. You then live out the rest of your life in that time zone. Unless you have a tardis to go back were you came from. " The Doctor let a smile cover his face for a second. He stopped and looked at her. " You met someone else called The Doctor? " He asked completely forgetting about the angel. He knew that there were more versions of him but who had she met? " What did he look like?" The Doctor asked a bit surprised, not meaning to be.
He jumped slight when he realized that neither of them were looking at the angels. " The angels! Look at them! " The Doctor shouted. His eyes quickly as he look over and an angel was like two inches from his face. Almost touching him. That is when he heard her ask if they could send her home. He nodded slightly. " It is possible I suppose but it is hard to tell, Reagan. They could send you home but they could also send you far from home. So it is not a good idea to trust them. Besides that, they send you back in time to get stronger. So we need to trick them. " The Doctor smiled a little. This was gonna be fun.
Shaking his head, he kept a hold of Reagan's hand. " I can't even let you try something like that. Whatever the reason you are here, it was for a good one. Plus, it is dangerous. Therefore, it is not an option. " The Doctor stated bluntly. His eyes started to hurt from staring at the angels." When I count to three, I want you to blink and duck. I will do the same. The other angel is in front of you right? " The Doctor asked as he tried his hardest to keep his eyes open but no matter how hard he tried, it was getting harder.

Re: Angels in a Churchyard // Meta-Crisis Tenth Doctor
When she listened to what he had to say, it was obvious that these things would have a hard time sending her home. He had surprise in his voice when she had mentioned meeting another Doctor and then she quickly nodded. "Yes! He had a bow tie and a huge chin. Incredibly flamboyant and a bit... out there," she shrugged. Suddenly he forced her in the direction of the angel, which was now directly in front of her, to which she yelped in startle.
Holding onto his hand tightly, she felt herself shake lightly. No, no, she did not want to be sent home by these things. They were cold, stone beings that just wanted to use her for their own gain. The doctor had a plan though, and she listened to it. "Okay, I'll duck," she said quickly. She tightened her grip on his hand, getting incredibly nervous. What was going to happen? Couldn't they still get the two of them?
Even if she was here for a reason, she wanted to know why she could never go home. The Doctor explained to her that the Daleks had been destroyed, so what was the problem? Seh didn't want to linger onto the thoughts for two long, so she quickly recollected herself, waiting for the Doctor to count to three.

Re: Angels in a Churchyard // Meta-Crisis Tenth Doctor
The Doctor looked at the angel. He could feel Reagan grip his hand tighter. The Doctor just dismissed, he was sort of use to it. Nodding, he gripped his hand tighter to hers just make her feel calmer and safer. The Doctor then let himself inhale and exhale before he started to talk again. "1...2...." His eyes stayed on the angels as he shouted. " 3! Duck! " The Doctor shut his eyes and pulled Reagan down with him. Her grip tightened even more when he said three. But he was fine with it, if anything that made him feel better, it meant she was safe and that she was still there, and that was all that mattered to him. After a few seconds, he opened his eyes. The angels were still there but they did not move anymore. The were about to atttack but they saw each other and that stopped them from getting them. The Doctor sighed a sigh of relief. He turned to Reagan, her eyes were still closed. " Reagan, you can open your eyes. Your safe now, I promise. " The Doctor placed his other hand on her shoulder with a friendly smile on his face. " They are dead. "
When Reagan finally opened her eyes, he smiled again. "Now you said that you were going to the deli? Come on. I will go with you, if you don't mind of course. " The Doctor kept a good hold of her hand as he guided her under the angel's arms and followed beside her. Knowing that she was confused, he explained, "Every single alien has a weakness. Well, almost everyone of them. Still working on the Vasdna Nerada. " The Doctor gave his head a shake and continued, "as for the weeping angels, theirs is looking at each other. They can't see each other because it causes them to completely freeze. Then they can't move ever again. " The Doctor continued to hold her hand as they walked to the deli. "Their greatest aspect is their greatest curse.... Anyway, the man your talking about is my eleventh regeneration. I am the tenth." A smile went on his face as they walked up to the deli. "Here we are. You should be good from here. Sorry about everything." The Doctor was about to say something else when he heard someone scream. "Remember, if you see any more statues. Any statues, not just angels. Don't blink and get away from them. Good bye Reagan, stay safe." The Doctore let go of Reagan's hand and sprinted off to save whoever had just screamed. He did not expect Reagan to follow, because most people did not like danger like The Doctor did. But he just wanted her to be safe, he didn't know the reason she was here but if the Eleventh Doctor sent her here, he sent her here for a good reason and the Tenth didn't need to question that because he did it sometimes.

Re: Angels in a Churchyard // Meta-Crisis Tenth Doctor
When the Doctor had yelled three, Reagen went down immediately, closing her eyes and holding her breath as her heart raced. Her hand was quivering her the Doctor's hand and she wasn't sure what was going to happen... until the Doctor said the angels were dead. She looked up, seeing the angels were staring at each other, and at that moment, she let out a sigh in relief.
She looked at the Doctor with a look of comfort as she nodded when he mentioned the deli. She smiled lightly and her cheeks went a slight shade of pink when he had mentioned going with her. Not once, had anyone ever been this kind to her--other than the Eleventh Doctor of course, but that didn't count. She knew him from her own era. She found it hard to meet people in this era, and she always had this sense of being unimportant. She felt as though she was ignored by most.
When they got to the deli, he was explaining the aliens and how they all had weaknesses of their own. She nodded, listening intently and found it very fascinating in a way. Oh, what luck! This already was giving her the incentive to join Torchwood, like the eleventh doctor suggested. The Doctor then let go of her hand when they arrived, as though he was saying goodbye. She gave a look of almost disappointment when that happened, but before he could say anything else, someone screamed.
After he had given advice once more to her, he had ran off into the distance, leaving Reagan to watch in wonder. What was she going to do now? Get her late night snack, go back home and be boring? Nonsense. She quickly shook her head and with a curl of a smile, she ran after him, as quickly as she could. "Wait! Wait, I'm coming with you!"

Re: Angels in a Churchyard // Meta-Crisis Tenth Doctor
The Doctor heard Reagan yell out to him but it came out muffled to him. He was close enough to hear it but he was distracted by his thoughts. As he ran, his feet would hit the floor with a loud thump! With each hit his mind seemed to drift even more. Was this because he had just met another companion and he was starting to think of his old companions? No. It couldn't be that, because his mind was blank. He most likely just needed some sleep, since it had been days since he had last slept. The Doctor was starting to wonder if he would ever sleep again.
The Doctor quickly rounded a corner and stopped. There in front of him was another angel. The only difference was that this one was alone. The girl that they hear scream was gone, she had disappeared into the cool night air. The Doctor tried to talk but nothing came out except an aggravated scream. He was aggravated because he thought that he had gotten rid of them, but he was wrong, the angels always came back to ruin his life in some way. And that some way was killing people. The Doctor's eyes seemed to get heaver. No, not now! I'm busy! The Doctor scolded himself. He was tired but this was a bad time to fall asleep. Besides, he didn't want to leave Reagan on her own. The Doctor was brought out of his thoughts by someone running up behind him, he turned to see Reagan. She was out of breath and sound like she was talking to him, but it all came out muffled to him.
The Doctor had to blink to keep himself awake, his eyes went a bit wider when he realized that neither of them were looking at the angel, again. The Doctor hadn't told Reagan, so it was understandable. His eyes quickly went back to the angel, but it was too late to hope. The angel had a hold of The Doctor's wrist, its other hand was reaching out to touch him. Why didn't it just send him back in time? That was a very good question to ask now, but he knew that he wouldn't get an answer.
The Doctor tried to talk but he could not find his words. His eyes stayed on the angel. Until he finally found his words, "Reagan." He said calmly, "Get out of here. There is another one of these around here somewhere and I am not losing anybody else because of my stupidity...." The Doctor finished his sentence with a small sigh. His voice sounded quiet but yet calm. By all means, it sounded as he had given up. Which was about right, if an angel grabs you, there is no easy way to get free, but if there is, The Doctor will find it...somehow.

Reagan ran as fast as she could to catch up with the Doctor, but when she did, she noticed that the scream source was now gone. Her eyes widened to the thought of what could have happened, but she kept following along with the Doctor, panting with every move she made.
She blinked. And suddenly, there was an angel grasping the Doctor, and she gasped, taking a step back. The other angels pointed at her, just watching. "Doctor... I'm not leaving." she took a step toward him. She stood directly behind the angel that was holding onto him, arms crossed, eyes wide. "I see all of them. I'll keep my eyes open. You can figure a way out of this, I'm not going to let them take you."
She took a deep breath, just watching in silence. She owed him so much. He was the first person she had really talked to since she had arrived here in the last two years. She was incredibly lonely, and she just needed to know there were people in the world who cared. She wasn't about to let them disappear or die.

The Doctor kept his eyes on the angel as well. If he blinked, he was a goner. Because if there was anything The Doctor knew for certain, it was the fact that the weeping angels didn't like The Doctor too much. Without looking at Reagan, he sighed. "Reagan, it has my wrist. I am not sure I can get it out, I think it would be better and safer if you just left. I don't want to lose anyone else." The Doctor said, with a hint of sorrow in his voice. He had lost a lot of people from his stupid ideas, ones that failed or were stupid to start with. The Doctor let his hand slide into his pocket and pull out his screwdriver, he tried his best to sonic the angel but it was hard considering he only had one hand and he had to look up at the angel every second.
Once he had scanned it,he put his screwdriver up. His eyes went up to the angel. "Why didn't you just send me back? Why keep me here?" The Doctor asked outloud. There was only one way to get your wrist free, and that was to break it. Because no one can break a stone with their hand. Sighing, The Doctor placed his right hand over his left. This is gonna hurt, well you pulled yourself into this... just had to blink. Well, better get this over with. The Doctor thought to himself as he gripped his teeth. "1...2...3" He counted under his breath. After he said three, he broke his wrist with a yell of pain coming from his throat, blood started to come to the surface and some came out onto his skin. The Doctor quickly got his wrist out and rubbed it slightly then let it drop to his side. "Lets go Reagan, but don't take your eyes of the angel." The Doctor's voice came out a bit strained as he motioned for her to follow him.
He reached his right hand to take Reagan's hand, once he had it, he lead her away from the angel. Both of them kept their eyes on the angel. When they made it around a corner, The Doctor turned to her. "We need to get back to my tardis. Come on, quickly, we don't have a lot of time." The Doctor then pulled her off to his tardis so he could have some time to work everything out.

When the Doctor had mentioned that she had better leave because he didn't want to lose anyone, she stubbornly shook her head, still continuing to keep her eyes on all the angels. "No. I don't want to lose anyone else either," she stated firmly as she continued to watch the statues with him.
For a moment, there was a silence between them, and her heart was the only thing she could hear, racing faster and faster with every breath she took. She could see that the Doctor was thinking intently, watching the angels and trying to think of a plan... and suddenly, he had gasped in pain, holding his wrist when he had snapped himself away from the angel.
"Doctor!" she ran up to him quickly, still keeping her eyes in sight of the angels. "Are you okay?" she went to help, but decided it would be best to wait until they were away from the statues. She knew how to help with first aid since she was trained to be a governess and had to help children with sickness and injuries.
When the Doctor took her hand, she continued to keep an eye on the angels, slowly getting away with them as her grasp on his hand tightened slightly, getting more nervous by the second. Finally, when they turned the corner, he looked at her, and told her to go to the TARDIS with him. She nodded, biting her lip as she watched him before running off with him.

Re: Angels in a Churchyard // Meta-Crisis Tenth Doctor
Once they made it to the tardis, The Doctor opened to door and walked in. Blood from his wrist fell to the floor but he paid it no mind. The Doctor started to mess with his tardis. "Right, so we have seen a total of four angels so far which means they came back some how. How is the real question here...but it will have to wait. I already know what they want, they want to get more energy to live and the only way to do that would have to be sending people back in time or taking my tardis, so we need to hide her." The Doctor explained as he flew his tardis with one hand, his other hand stayed at his side.
When he landed his tardis, he pulled Reagan out and locked his tardis. The Doctor continued to walk. "We need a better place to stay, do you have a house?" The Doctor asked as he walked by her. His eyes did not match his voice, he eyes screamed pain and sorrow while his voice said completely fine, it was all confusing. Taking her hand he pulled her back to the deli, she never did get her sandwich. He walked in, and sat down in an empty seat. "Go ahead and get your food, I will wait." The Doctor said as he pulled out a notebook and started to write words in Galifrayian writing.
The Doctor filled the page with hundreds of his tiny circles, or his languge. He was working on how to send the angels away this time, each time had been different for him. But this time, he came up blank. Staring at the notebook, he sighed. Nothing seemed to work and that made him aggravated. The Doctor continued to write, mumbling small Galifrayian phrases under his breath. He had completely forgot about Reagan who had been sitting in front of him for quite some time.
Tearing out the page, he threw it in the trash. "Useless!" He exclaimed. He had written a lot of things down but was not too happy with what he got. His eyes went to Reagan. "I mean...." The Doctor cleared his throat. "I'm working on it, it may take some time. Now, if your done here...could we go to your place and work this out?" The Doctor asked as he stood to his feet and walked out, mumbling something Galifrayian under his breath one more time before completely walking out.

Re: Angels in a Churchyard // Meta-Crisis Tenth Doctor
When the two had gotten to the TARDIS, Reagan approached the Doctor, lifting his hand up very gently, trying not to hurt the broken wrist. "Let me take a look, okay? I used to be a governess. I dealt with kids breaking bones all the time," she spoke very gently, in a rather motherly tone. She laced her fingers with his for a moment to firm the grip of his hand, without putting strain on the wrist. She then took a handkerchief from her pocket, wiping the blood away. "We can get some bandages for it in a bit."
When the two exited the TARDIS, he had then asked her if she had a house, to which she looked at him thoughtfully and nodded. "Well, I have an apartment, but it's private. No one lives with me," she wondered if he was trying to hide from the angels, and if being alone would have been better than if she had roommates. They then stopped at the deli, and he then sat down at a table. She quickly went to the counter, ordered her sandwich, and then went to the table, sitting across from him when he had gotten a bit irritated.
He looked a bit worried when he then noticed she was sitting there, and she had just finished her sandwich. He then asked if they could go to her place, and her eyes widened slightly as her cheeks flushed pink. "My place?" She was taking a boy to her place? Reagan had the utmost horrible luck with guys and now this one was just coming over without her even trying. Then again, it was the Doctor. "I mean... okay. It's not too far from here. Maybe a minute away or so. You can see the complex from this window," she got up and started heading for the door waiting for him.
When they had finally made it to her apartments, she locked the door behind him and looked around, noticing how empty the place really was. There was a piano in the corner near a couch with a television, a violin stand with some sheet music, and several posters of famous classical composers, such as Beethoven, Mozart, and Handel plastered around the area. On a small shelf was few old photographs of her family before she had been displaced, as well as a picture of Percy, her ex-fiance. It was a very small, lonely area. "It's not much... but it works I hope. Now let me take a look at your wrist."

Re: Angels in a Churchyard // Meta-Crisis Tenth Doctor
The Doctor followed Reagan to her apartment without talking. He was still confused by everything that was happening. How in the world would he take out the angels? Would he be able to? The thought of that made The Doctor shudder. He did not want to lose and risk thousands of lives. Of course he was not in to just win, he just wanted to save all the humans and that was going to be hard.
When they finally made it to her apartment, The Doctor looked around. It was small but it would do. He did not say anything about the picture or her piano, he just sat down on the couch. His soft eyes were in a deep frown. The Doctor was still working on a plan when Reagan spoke. She wanted to fix his wrist. His eyes went down to his wrist, it was swollen and more blood had surfaced. He had been so caught up in all of the angel stuff that he had completely forgotten about his wrist and what he had done to get it like that. The only thing that really surprised him was that she wanted to help, and the fact that she demanded to look at it. Now that was a first, even for him. The Doctor let his eyes go to hers. They were not mad or angry, they were more like understanding and concerned. The Doctor was not worried about himself, he was worried about all the humans lives.
"Reagan...." The Doctor started to defend himself but he closed his eyes. If there was one thing he could not hide, it was the the fact that he was tired. Blinking a few times, he cleared his throat and opened his eyes. People may think that The Doctor always gets time to himself but it's a lie. He spends a lot of his time helping others and never really gets time to himself. So it was no surprise to him that he was tired but he could not sleep with angels running around and sending people back in time. " My wrist is not important right now, I can fix it later. But we do need to think of a way to free London of all the angels....how?" The Doctor mumbled as he forced himself to sit up.
"More important-" The Doctor was cut off by the lights in the apartment flickering. "No!" The Doctor shouted as he ran out of the apartment. When he got outside, there were two more angels and they had just sent two people back in time. They were strong. Too strong. The Doctor looked over at them with a glare. "Leave London alone!" He shouted. Feeling his knees give out, he fell down. The Doctor was now on the ground, too weak to fight his own battle. His eyes went up to the two angels. What was he going to do now?
Keep your eyes open...don't blink, don't blink. Please don't blink! The Doctor told himself but it was too late, he blinked and he was not in the same place he was before. They must have sent him somewhere, but where? I'm still in London, same time zone, and they didn't send me back in time. They sent me across town, why wo- Reagan! They want Reagan! The Doctor thought as he tried to stand up. But it was no use, he just fell down again. "Reagan..." He said with high hopes he could shout it but it only came out as a tiny whisper. The Doctor could feel his eyes start to close, he tried his best to stay awake, it didn't work and he feel asleep.
The Doctor's mind raced, he did not dream nor did he want to. More or less, he just thought about the worst things and the people who he lost. Would that count as a dream? Reagan is dead and it is all your fault, all you had to do was stay with her, you just had to blink! It's all your fault, Meta! A girl in one of his dreams accused him, which made him feel aweful. The Doctor awoke about ten minutes later with a scream becuase in his dream he saw everyone he knew dead before him, all the life leaving their eyes scared him. The Doctor quickly got up and ran off to find Reagan, hopefully she was still okay.

Re: Angels in a Churchyard // Meta-Crisis Tenth Doctor
Reagan had gotten a warm rag to wipe the blood from his hand and interlaced hers with this for a moment to get a better look at the swelling. She began gently wiping it off, when suddenly she had noticed his gaze had fell onto her. She stopped for a moment, quickly letting go of his hand as she looked back at him, her cheeks flushing lightly. Something was much more human about this Doctor, and she couldn't quite explain it. She felt her heart beat a bit faster than normal and she quickly looked away from him.
When he had said her name, she snapped back to look at him, blinking lightly as she tilted her head slightly. "Yes?" she spoke. Before he had said anything else though, she noticed his eyes grow heavy, and suddenly he snapped into thinking. His wrist wasn't important. "While we're thinking of a game plan, I can tend to your wrist, Doctor. I'm not going to let you run around in pain. I just couldn't do that to you."
When he had gone to spoke again, he was suddenly cut off by flickering lights, and she looked up at them curiously, but then saw a sense of worry wash over the Doctor's face. He shouted and quickly ran out of the apartment as she had gone after him quickly. "Wait, no! Doctor, please!" He had ran out of the apartment completely, facing the angels when he suddenly fell to the ground.
"Oh, no, no, no," she mumbled to herself as she went to run after him. There was an angel blocking her way toward him. "Doctor, please get up, I know you have the strength!" but it was no use. He had made no response, and she had seen a glimmer of consciousness suddenly render away as he mumbled her name she could barely hear under his breath and her eyes widened in immense fear.
Now she was surrounded by these creatures, and she didn't know what to do. She slowly backed away, tears welling in her eyes as she continued to watch them. She had to find somewhere to hide... but they were everywhere. She felt a doorway behind her and she quickly pulled it open, slamming the door behind her as she then shot down the hallway as quick as possible, breathing heavily as she got to the other side, heading toward the church. Something had to be there, a clue to how to stop them.

Re: Angels in a Churchyard // Meta-Crisis Tenth Doctor
The Doctor ran as long as he could. Once he made it back to the front Reagan's apartment, she was gone. His eyes searched wildly for her but she was just not there. Was she still alive? If so, where had she gone? So many questions flooded The Doctor's mind. He wanted to find Reagan and help her but how would he do it if he had no idea if she was even alive? Turning around, he stared ahead. Something was missing. The angels had left. The Doctor had been right for once, the angels wanted Reagan. Had they taken her too? The Doctor would not be able to live with himself if that had happened.
A sigh made its way up The Doctor's throat as he ran into a door. For some reason he thought the door was open. Then again, he was half asleep. He had to force himself to stand to his feet. Once he was standing he opened the door and ran through it. The only place the angels would go if they had taken Reagan would be the church. His feet kept hitting the floor as he ran out of the building and right towards the church. Luckily, he made it without falling or getting lost.
The Doctor came to a sudden stop after his feet hit the red carpet. There, in front of him, stood all of the angels. Not just a few like three or four but like twenty. Twenty angels. They seemed to be around something. Was that Reagan? The Doctor felt his hearts start to beat faster. Hopefully that wasn't Reagan. It couldn't be, right? Taking a small and slow step, The Doctor moved toward them. All he could hear was his hearts, they seemed to have moved straight to his ears.
When he was about a foot away from the angels, he spoke up. "You tried to get rid of me? Well, that won't work. You shouldn't have even thought that would stop me." He let his eyes go over to what they were around. It was Reagan and she what is that she is holding? A book? Papers? It was too hard to tell. The Doctor found himself talking, he did not know when he started to talk though. "Reagan...I-" The Doctor's voice came out strained and worried. She was surrounded by angels, their eyes protected by their hands. What was he going to do to save her?!
His eyes settled on hers, they looked worried and scared. So did The Doctor's. The Doctor wanted to save her but what could he do? One wrong move and she was gone. Competely. Then it hit him. He could not seem to shout it out loud enough. "Reagan, grab the red tapestry above your head and pull it down!" He shouted a bit excited to see if it would work and for her to be safe of course.

Re: Angels in a Churchyard // Meta-Crisis Tenth Doctor
Reagan had backed herself into the corner of the church, the angels surrounding her when she had suddenly heard a voice she recognized immediately as the Doctor's. Looking at the angels and trying to feel for the tapestry, she felt herself begin to hyperventilate as she immediately pulled it down, and it fell over the angels' heads. She ran out of the area as fast as she could and then grabbed the Doctor's hand, pulling him through the hallway. "I have an idea!"
As she ran, through, she looked through each door as quickly as possible, just trying to find out where it was. "Come on, where is it!" she turned her face to him. "We need a mirror. If it sees itself in the mirror, it can't move, yes?" she looked at him seriously, but with a flicker of fear. She knew there was a mirror in this church somewhere. They brought it out on special occasion.

Re: Angels in a Churchyard // Meta-Crisis Tenth Doctor
The Doctor watched as the tapestry fell over the angel's heads, and he smiled. It had worked and she was safe. He was about to say something to her when she ran over to him and pulled him. Luckily, she grabbed his right hand instead of his left or they would have had to stop. He was about to say something when she pulled him into the hallway. "An idea? What's your idea?" The Doctor had to admit that he hadn't thought of an idea quite yet so it was good that she had one. A smile came on his face again as they ran, he loved to do this. It was so fun to run and do adventures. He never really knew why.
They kept running through the hall, The Doctor did not know what they were looking for excatly. His eyes looked confused as she pulled him. Then she spoke. "Where is what?" He asked, he could feel his voice squeak. "A mirror." The Doctor stopped for a second. If it saw itself it would freeze but would a reflection count? "Yes, that would work. A reflection is just like a copy and a copy is still an angel which means it would work." He responed a bit quickly to her, which he didn't mean to but he did. When she looked abit confused, he tried again. "Yes it would work. A reflection is still an angel."
She continued to pull him. He just hoped that they would soon find the mirrow. "Which room would it be in? Do you remember" His eyes went back, the angels were following and they were following fast. He did not say anything so she could focus, instead he just kept his eyes on them.

Re: Angels in a Churchyard // Meta-Crisis Tenth Doctor
Trying to remember where in the world it could be, she finally had it come to her head as she smiled. "Ah yes!" she quickly pulled on his hand so he would follow. She knew it was in the basement. Noticing how dark it was, she quickly turned the light off and halted. "Oh no... we have a problem, Doctor," she said quietly.
Looking around, she notcied that there were three other angels with their eyes covered. "The mirror is across the room..." she took a slow step forward, and click! The light shut off and turned on again. The angels were closer. Her hand tightened on the Doctor's as she gasped lightly. "I don't like this one bit..."

Re: Angels in a Churchyard // Meta-Crisis Tenth Doctor
The Doctor followed Reagan without question, he knew that he could trust her. That was a first. He was usually the one giving out the trust. This was a good first, though. His eyes scanned the room, trying to find all of the angels. 1,2,3,4,5. 5!He counted quietly to himself, his eyes stayed on three of them, still listening to Reagan. "A problem indeed." He noded at her. The Doctor tried to think of a plan, nothing came at first. Then again, the Weeping Angels did hate The Doctor. He had destroyed a lot of their plans. That's when it hit him, his stupid plan that might work.
"Reagan, I have a plan but you might not like it." He said to her, his eyes not moving an inch. "I can distract them with my sonic. You see, they know me quite well so I can get them around me with my sonic and you can go and get the mirror. I can also keep the lights on for a bit long but you will have to move quicky. Got it? Good. Because I am doing it. Now go." The Doctor explained, his hand on his sonic. His other hand gave Reagan a tight squeeze of reassureant then it slid out of her hand. Taking a good hold of his sonic, he pointed it at the light switch. It turned back on, for now anyway. When the angels heard the sonic screwdriver, the started to move toward The Doctor. It was a sad thought, the angels thought that they could get the screwdriver to get in the tardis or maybe his key if they surrounded The Doctor. But The Doctor rather die then let that happen.
The Doctor screwdriver started to flicker and shoot out sparks. "Hurry up, Reagan!" He called after her. All the angels started to get closer to him making The Doctor start to worry a bit.

Re: Angels in a Churchyard // Meta-Crisis Tenth Doctor
The moment he disappeared to go and distract them, her eyes widened as she gasped. "Doctor!" She was a bit shocked at how foolish he suddenly became. Trying to reach for him, she knew that it was too late and she had to move, fast. She scrambled around looking for the mirror as she hoped to god that nothing would happen to the Doctor. What was she going to do? This was not a good situation.
Making her way down the stairs to find the mirror, her heart was racing heavily as she looked around vigorously, pulling sheets off of everything, hoping to find it. For a long while, she felt as though she was coming to no luck... but then she finally found it. Sighing in relief, she picked the ornate mirror up quickly, heading back to the area that the Doctor was in. "I found it! I found the mirror!" she shouted quickly.
As she made her way to his area, she saw that he was still distracting them. "Move out of the way, we have to trick them!" she said loudly, hoping that he had heard her in time. If he were to get zapped, she would never forgive herself. Biting her lip, she went to place the mirror in position, hoping it would work. She wasn't sure how she was going to outsmart these statues...
