Party Time For Sorrowed Souls // Rachel
As Anthony sat at the table, far away from prying eyes, in a corner booth Nate got them, he suddenly thought they needed something fun.
A thought of party crossed his mind but he was somewhat sure it came from his alcohol craving brother. Telepathic connection between twins sometimes felt awkward enough to make the shyest of twins to blush as he cautiously looked into his whiskey.

Re: Party Time For Sorrowed Souls // Rachel
Eyeing the bottle full of alcoholic beverage didn't make it easier. He badly wanted a drink. The problem was Tony. His absurdly shy twin who often enough was afraid his own shadow.
They needed to cheer up. A party seemed a good idea. So why not.
Autumn was known season to make people depressed, even aliens, so now a place and lots of drinks was in order. And some more people so they won't be the only ones belting out random songs and being all kinds of crazily silly.
A wild drinking party and maybe a tad strip poker was in order. Possibly some crazy game they could play. Like where they all dress up lightly and run around apartment building like sugar high kids.
Pretty funny idea.

Being on assignment in London was exciting for several reasons. One of them being, it was London! So much better than Cardiff. Another that Jack wasn't around to keep score of how much you were actually working.
Having been working all day, Rachel had decided to take the night off, go out, and try to have some fun. For now she was sitting in a bar drinking a beer. She had no idea where the night would go, but was open to ideas. All she was looking for was a good time.

Either he was less of a bad guy or his brother's presence saved those waiters and waitresses from being harassed by Nathan's usual boredom kicks but the slightly older twin refrained from making people trip all over themselves and spill things. It was good actually, fun can be gotten by daring each other to belt songs out loud or simply try doing "flower dance" as they called levitation of flowers produced by other.
"Hey, snotface, gonna drink it or dream it?" he bumped his still faraway brother. "We gotta get that party rollin'."

"You're an ass, Nate, has anyone told you that?" Tony poked Nate back, hitting man's ribs. "What party?" he asked surprised and looked around at the crowd.
Not yet too much people to humiliate himself in front of. He finally grabbed his glass and with an angry glare emptied it in one swift movement, wincing at the taste hitting his throat.

Re: Party Time For Sorrowed Souls // Rachel
Rachel looked a bit around herself. The twins in one of the booths were what attracted her attention the most. She hadn't seen a pair of twins that were that identical before. She seriously couldn't tell them apart, if they hadn't been wearing different looking clothes.
She turned on the bar chair, to face the room in stead of the bar. The bartender really wasn't that good looking. Part of her wondered if she was really going to spend the night drinking by herself, and if that was the case, how long 'the night' would be? Probably not that long, and she probably wouldn't be as drunk as she would like to be.

Nate smirked at his twin, "Nice to see my little fella growin' up so fast." he said sarcastically with a more-than-needed rough pat on the man's shoulders with his both hands.
The received scowl only made Nathan bark out a laugh, his laughs were slightly lower than Tony's and generally Nate was appearing slightly bit darker than his much more lighter and positive, but at the same time more nostalgic brother.
"Come on kid, you think I don't know? You think it's just me planting these thoughts in your head?" another bark of laughter as Nate squeezed his tiny framed twin. Although identical twins they had some noticeable differences, if you knew where to look, gained by life. Tony's frame was smaller and he looked really tiny if not hidden beneath cluster of clothes. His hair was also more fluffier and bit longer, letting the curls getting more comfy. And the fragile looking alien tend to wear some century old jeans and almost net-resembling old hoodie, however tonight he was dressed in new jeans with knitted sweater and had half-length trench coat. The boy was always cold so despite not the overly cold Autumn at its beginning Tony had dressed warm.
"So you know, boy, you want a party too. You're curious, bud. I know you well enough." he ruffled the twin's hair into more mess despite Tony's tries to escape.
Nate waved to bartender for more whiskey and to add some tequila joined.
Today he wanted a party. He wanted to drink so much his blood turned alcohol and then some.

Re: Party Time For Sorrowed Souls // Rachel
Albeit it really annoyed him, Tony couldn't deny. Natty was right, always were. It was as if they hadn't been apart at all.
They had different lives, their lifestyles and opinions often clashed. But still, their natural twin-bond had never been severed and unknowingly they always had been able to sense each other.
He glared at his much more muscular built twin. Today they looked pretty neat. He'd donned the clothing Ally had chosen but he rarely used.
Nate was looking quite less starved than him in his neat jeans and new black hoodie over white tank top. He even had cleaned his second leather jacket so he wasn't creeping people out.
"You know Natty, for an everyday moron you seem quite nice today." Tony pointed out sternly. Nate was almost famous for his persistent urge to get drunk whenever he wasn't conning humans out of their possessions. "Must be the thirst to blame." extraterrestrial added before waiter dumped another round of drinks on their table.
He had to hold himself to refrain from sudden flowers or other crap appearing in the middle of a bar full of people.

Re: Party Time For Sorrowed Souls // Rachel
The twins seemed too preoccupied with themselves to notice her. Rachel looked around a bit further, but nothing of interest caught her eye. She returned to her beer. Counting on her fingers, how many hours of sleep she would get, if she walked back to the hotel now. *When did I become such a bore. A sleep at 10 on a night off* Rachel shook her head at herself. Grabbing her bear she walked to the jukebox, looking for some good music to play.
Re: Party Time For Sorrowed Souls // Rachel
Nate grabbed his whiskey immediately. He was once again thirsty and could drink alcohol a lot before his system started to pout at the strange liquid filling up the space and confusing all the order that's been put there for reasons only nature knew.
"Hey snotface, how 'bout some music? Or trick? These folks might fall asleep before drinks are served." he suddenly suggested. Received glare spoke volumes about the sanity the idea might suggest to others.
Nate spotted a woman going for jukebox. He started grinning. Maybe there was music good enough to dance to. "How 'bout ya moonwalk, boy?" extraterrestrial asked with a mischievous smirk.

Re: Party Time For Sorrowed Souls // Rachel
Anthony gulped down his drink with a doomed expression since not even cats took his glares seriously.
The thought of singing or doing tricks for such variety of public made goosebumps appear on his skin. He could draw something to them but not sing, even if his voice wasn't that bad and he was indeed capable of keeping the tune and humbly hoped one day he will be capable of gathering enough courage to join Ally on stage.
"Are you insane?" stupid question of course, Nate was an absolute idiotic nutjob most of the time and Tony knew what that suggestion meant. Dancing along whatever music is on jukebox.
With a strangled gulp the man glanced at the offending machine. A woman seemed going to put some music on. He just hoped for it to be something dance-able otherwise they might get thrown out. Usually this was reserved for home parties not public places, too many cops around. And Anthony was known to loose control of his abilities.
But Nate just kept grinning like devil.

Re: Party Time For Sorrowed Souls // Rachel
Rachel chose something mainstream. Not exactly dancing music, but not something that anyone would mind listening to. (Snow patrol - chocolate) She stayed at the jukebox to see what other music numbers there might be on it.
She glanced a bit over at the twins, who were being quite loud. They had definitely had more to drink than she had.. yet. Had she been more drunk, she probably wouldn't had a problem with going over to them and just talk to them. But they looked like they had their own thing going, and it would just be to intrude, if she went over there. So she stayed at the jukebox.

The song was on and Nate dropped back another shot of his drink and got up. "You know, dummy-my, you're just too stiff and scared to behave your true self." he announced to the now frowning man. "Come on, sass." with that Nathaniel unceremoniously grabbed his twin's hand pulled the lighter extraterrestrial up on feet. "Let's move some." bumped Tony's hip with his own and launched into a rhythm of the song, not caring the world and his terribly blushing brother.

"Oh... nononono...!" Tony tried but he couldn't put up against his more stronger brother. The song was familiar and unconsciously he'd started to hum along the music, but his eyes widened and nearly sprung out of sockets in sudden flash of horror at being pulled out of the safety behind the table and bottles. As if it wasn't enough his whole face turned beet red and all he could do was to gulp loudly at the knot in his throat and try an apologetic smile at the woman who was still at jukebox. He was literally praying for something - someone - coming for rescue. Otherwise too much stress on his unstable brain might cause some mishap like roomful of butterflies, or balloons and rainbows. Humans won't understand these things were just accident caused by old brain trauma, no they'll be mad and put him in asylum - alien thought frightened, oblivious for a second of his brother doing impressive imitation of playing guitar and alternating to piano.

Re: Party Time For Sorrowed Souls // Rachel
Rachel watched as the twins started dancing. One of them looked okay, at least he was confident. The other seemed a bit embarrassed by the whole ordeal. He tried a smile in her direction, which almost made her laugh. She felt a bit sorry for him.
In the end it became too much, and she cut into his solo dance. Placing a hand on his shoulder, and taking his free hand with hers. In the typical waltzing grip. "You looked like you needed rescuing" She smiled a bit at him, hoping he wouldn't freak.

Re: Party Time For Sorrowed Souls // Rachel
Just before it launched into full blown hysterical panic attack he got saved by the same woman who was at jukebox. Maybe his sorta-sos-smile worked, albeit pretty much unconsciously.
Tony tried not to blush more than he was already, Nate seemingly into deep oblivion or regular state of 'comatose-dancing' which he got informed was the confidence-man's way of ignoring humans.
"Oh thank heaven, I thought I'll start chasing my heart all over the place." Anthony said, feeling relieved, now that Nate was not too close anymore, gathering crowd of young folks too drunk to care. He smiled at his savior, "I'm actually not a dancer, but to tell that to my oblivious brother would be like telling grass to stop growing." Tony started rambling, like always when meeting new people. Maybe the night turn quite nicely, unless he won't start accidentally sprouting flowers and bubbles.

Re: Party Time For Sorrowed Souls // Rachel
Rachel smiled, a bit more relaxed now, glad that he hadn't pushed her away or anything like that. "You could have fooled me" The music had changed to an even slower song. Rachel wasn't sure if they should keep dancing, but that was what they seemed to do. She turned to look at his twin, who did seem a bit more enthusiastic about the dance. "He does seem a bit.. carried away" Rachel turned her face back towards her dancepartner. "I'm Rachel by the way"
Re: Party Time For Sorrowed Souls // Rachel
Despite not being a dancer he managed okay enough to not kill anybody whenever he was pulled into a dance.
"I was taken by surprise a bit." Anthony smiled sheepishly.
As he glanced at Nate, noticing song change, he couldn't help but let out something close to a giggle. "Oh, not just carried away, he's totally into that world of whatever stuff his brain has cluttered." Tony suddenly felt tempted to sent some balloons his way, but refrained since humans might not enjoy alien presence so openly. "Anthony, you can call me Tony. Nice to meet you Rachel." he left his shy teen's smile on, despite not being a teen, at least as far as his limited math let.
"Yo! Natty! Stars are calling your satellites back to ground-one base field!" he called out at Nate who had choreographed himself closer now and risked a minor cork-to-forehead hit. At least he hoped all the youth sliding over the floor space hadn't noticed anything flying in the air on itself.

"For saint altimeter sakes, Ants, are you a star soldier or somethin'?" Nathan barked back at his twin, still halfway into dance. Until he got thirsty and slinked off to table for more drink.

Re: Party Time For Sorrowed Souls // Rachel
Rachel chuckled lightly at Tony's comment of his brother. There was no way that her own sister would act like that. Unless she was really really drunk. Julia was way too proper. Rachel had tried to help her with that, most of the time without any luck. And the rest of the times, it just resulted in Julia swearing that she would never do it again.
She wasn't quite sure what she should do with herself, as the brothers spoke/half yelled at each other. The thing she noticed the most, was not only the volume, but also what they said. Might just be her, but she was pretty sure she hadn't heard anyone speak like that before. What they were saying made absolutely no sense to her. And she had been around. Not just on earth. Sure she had only had one trip to another planet, and it had been rather short. But even there, 'people' hadn't talked like they did. It made her a little suspicious to be honest. But it could just be that they were from some part of Britain that she hadn't been to. Or even just a part of London she hadn't been to.
"You're not from around here, are you?" She figured that was an innocent way of asking where they were from. She knew her own accent gave her away, she was not a local girl.

"Cork-head you." Tony mumbled at his twin and risked another cork levitating at his forehead as if to accentuate his words.
Then with an apologetic smile turned back to Rachel. "It's usually more controlled in public but he's a bit nostalgic today so we kinda flew our usual behavior." and with that he blushed again, head down before it popped back up and chuckled. "I suppose it's pretty obvious. We rarely blend in crowd. Well, me. Natty can blend wherever he likes.
So I'm from Hawaii. I think he too. But I'm not sure I know my birthplace exactly. Came to London by pure accident and found myself a twin. Being orphan does offer some mystery effect." Anthony told as smoothly as he could without saying he's an alien from destroyed planed he even doesn't know anything about and their parents send them to earth so they could survive. And to add to that that they most likely were the last citizens alive from their home planet. Though he really hoped more had been saved eventually.
With a smile he continued, "And you, native here?"

"Hutarmon tonkador..." Nathaniel muttered under his breath, but loud enough for Anthony to hear. "Astrohinmo stupid.." he mumbled and emptied half the tequila in almost one swallow.
Then, being the naughtiest twin, lined up some corks in the air in front of his face and neatly sent them at his brother's head's backside where they hit the target with resounding pops, and smirked into Tony's unfinished whiskey as something like 'hoteno, waspunto, insquirfsaquemo' and 'hquitano tranquillarmo' reached his ears. Of course, he couldn't exactly start Astorian-like bragging launching in the middle of human filled bar so Nate paid no care for his twin as he felt the human-like alcohol buzz making his brain dance.

Re: Party Time For Sorrowed Souls // Rachel
Rachel listened with a "oh" and a nod. She wasn't sure if that was all there was to it. There was just something really odd about them. "No" She shook her head a bit "I'm from Florida." Honestly she thought it was quite obvious that she wasn't from Britain. But maybe not for someone who wasn't from there themselves?
"We don't have to dance, if you don't want to, you know" As long as Rachel didn't have to sit around alone, she didn't care what they did. It was way too rare that she got to meet new people.

Re: Party Time For Sorrowed Souls // Rachel
Tony tried not to feel weird by speaking in foreign language someone might recognize extraterrestrial in the public but it didn't seem Rachel really minded. So he just smiled his boyish smile and beamed at Rachel, "Florida, really? I like there. Warm weather and nice beaches, especially Miami. I think people even liked me." he tried joking, because it really would sound strange if he told he just one night went to sleep in his own bed only to wake up curled up on Miami sandy beach absolutely clueless until a dog sniffed his out of the spot. No, that seemed too weird.
"Oh, okay. Then let's just sit and have a drink." Anthony offered because he felt relieved it wasn't obligated to dance if he felt like not dancing. But he had some serious manners stuffed in his head once and he was too polite to make everything happen after his own wish.

Rachel laughed a bit. "I can't see why they wouldn't like you" She nodded at the mention of a drink. "Should we join your brother?" Meeting another new person, was certainly something that she wouldn't mind. Even if she might mess up their names. Tony, he was tony.. She hoped their names wouldn't be too similar, so that she would get them mixed up.
