It was so dull that day. There wasn't anything special going on in the city, and Leina had been to early all the hotspots around the area. It was just such a boring day. Nothing sounded fun to her. Drawing? No. Writing? Definitely not. Reading? Never. Not even a watching the telly seemed the least bit entertaining. Groaning, Leina shoved her face deeper into her pillow; she had been lying on her bed for about 20 minutes now, moaning and occasionally kicking her feet in the air. There was just nothing to do...

Unless she went for a stroll. Yes, maybe a little walk outside would lift her spirits. Leina quickly rolled off her bed and headed for her closet. She slipped on the first T-shirt she saw, some jeans, and her black combat boots. She hopped down the hall, tucking her jeans under her boots. When Leina finally reached the front door, she snagged her jacket and slipped it on as she slammed the door behind her.

Outside was just as grim as it was inside. The sky was full of grey clouds, though it didn't show any signs of raining soon. There was hardly any wind, and the streets were practically empty. It was as if the whole of London was in a state of sheer bordem.

After a moment or two, Leina decided she was going to head towards the playground in the nearby park. She had been in the park, but never the playground, but then again, she was an adult, and it would be odd for someone to come across her there. Even so, she was determined to go. She began heading in the direction, shoving her hands into her large coat pockets.

About ten minutes later, Leina had reached her destination. She observed the sight before her: The row of swings, the swirled slide, the jungle jim. It was a child's wonderland. She grinned; there was no one else here. Immediately, Leina headed for the swings. She selected one near the end, and began to swing. It was quite fun. She couldn't remember the last time she had done this. She giggled as she rose higher.

Morth hummed as she walked down the street, lost in her own thoughts with a bright smile. Morth looked rather strange, dressed in the most unusual fasion. As she had thick gloves that were to large for her wrists, the fingers were to long and gave her the illusion of being quite small. She had a strong bad T shirt on, a picture of Trogdor the dragon was brightly colored on the shirt. The shirt was to large for her as well, it's short sleeves coming down nearly to her elbows and the shirt was wrinkled up around her almost like a dress. She had camoflage slacks that hung down crookedly on her waist, and piled up over her barefeet. People stood and stared at the young woman as she walked by, to which she only smiled and waved wildly, then continued on her way continueing to hum that lovely little song of hers.

She passed by a park, and she stopped looking over to the grown woman swinging on the swing set. Her jaw dropped, and though every other person her age would have shaken their heads and continued Morth looked over at the woman with a bright smile. The woman on the swings looked so pretty! All grown up, and beautiful the wind blew the hair out of her face and she looked like she was having such a fun time on the swings.

"Say! That looks like so much fun! Can I join?" She asked, bopping up and down as she hopped from foot to foot. The sidewalk sure was hot!

"Say! That looks like so much fun! Can I join?"

Leina's eyes widened. She wasn't expecting someone to arrive. She immediately stop swinging and whirled her head around to face the one who just spoke to her.

It was a girl. She seemed to be about Leina's age, yet a bit younger. She was wearing a peculiar outfit, bouncing on the pavement with her barefeet. Leina couldn't help but grin at the sight. This woman's whole aura was so pleasant, and it made the girl on the swing feel happy and more full of life. She loosened her grip on the swing's chains, letting her hands slide down the rubber seat.

"Ya, sure. Take a swing and start swinging!" Leina exclaimed over to the stranger. She tilted her head slightly, suggesting for the girl to take the seat beside her. Leina refrained from swinging any more, until the new arrival began to as well; she may want to start a conversation for a little bit.

Morth bounced over to the swing, selecting the one beside the beautiful woman. The gravel that was used for padding if a child were to fall off clung to the bottom of her feet and dug into the skin slightly. Morth hopped on one foot, and shook the other wildly do this for both legs as she walked over to the swing set and plopped down heavily with a bright smile.

"Thanks!" She said in a sing song voice, already moving back and forth in the swing to get the momentum going. She wasn't to high, merely swing back and forth slightly.

"Some people aren't nearly as friendly as you! Most of 'em just kinda stand and stare. Donno why! Sounds like a bore!" Morth concluded her wandering thought, the swing only moving back and forth a little bit higher. It took so long to get it started! Morth thought sourly, then stopped herself with a bright smile. Oh, negative thoughts wouldn't help help anything at all!

"Oh, I always forget to introduce myself! I'm Mor- Mud. What's your name?" She asked, nearly slipping up and introducing herself with her supposed real name instead of the name she liked!
