Anyways, my bike's at home, so I'm being dropped off in the ambulance. Am currently trying to convince my shift-partner to turn on the siren to get there quicker, but he isn't having a bar of it. So I'll be a bit later than expected.

Hey, we've all been there. Goodness knows I've had more than my fair share of sounding like a depressed love story. But those are tales for another day. Ugh, we're caught up in traffic. There's been an accident or something. Will be late. Now we definitely can't use the sirens to get out quicker, unless we want to be dragged into work.
